I kind of hate to do this, because it's a huge downer, but I really want people to be aware of what's going on.

From [info]rowangolightly, the story of Chai, a dog who was severely and permanently injured by a toy. The poor dog had to have his tongue amputated.

The company who made the toy has been contacted and not only are they denying that this has happened before (it sounds like it has), they are not pulling the product to redesign it.

Please do not purchase anything from Four Paws, and let your friends know about this so no more dogs get hurt.

I'm doing well. Here are the goals I had set for myself tonight:

    Work on that darned hat
Use the little metal dealie to try to fix my purse
I will look for the sock yarn
if I find it I will photograph it and the new sage yarn

    What I've accomplished:

    Fixed my purse
Ordered a gift for my Brother-in-Law's birthday
    Paid our vehicle tags/taxes
    Found the sock yarn
Took pictures of the sage yarn, the sock yarn, AND some Red Heart left over from Cskippy's Gryffindor scarf a while back.
    Resized photos
Put them on Ravelry (along with more pics of the cream cowl from before)
Packed my sister's box (bamboo headband, vampire book, etc) and got it ready to mail.

I guess PMS rage can be a great motivator. :D

I did a photo session with my stash tonight. Everything that was in the official stash tub has been photographed, but I know I still have some yarn hiding here and there that needs to pose for me.

My tripod worked great and definitely sped up the process. I'm really glad I got it.

I uploaded the stash pics and got them onto Ravelry, so I feel quite accomplished.

Tomorrow (well, tonight, now that I see what time it is) I'll be cleaning out a corner of the living room to prepare for new-to-us furniture from my mother. This will involve the moving of a bookcase, a coffee table, and a phone stand. Along with some crafting stuff that made its way back there.

    Time for bed.
